Mission Trip FAQ’s
ServingHIM Mission trip listed costs are subject to change.
Mission Trip costs include airfare, Med Evac Travel Insurance through Travel Guard, lodging, transportation, and meals.
Travel Insurance - Please note that travel insurance coverage is determined by Travel Guard and ServingHIM is not liable for any incurred costs. ServingHIM only purchases a Med Evac Travel Insurance NOT health insurance. Your personal health insurance does NOT cover you once you leave the country and you may want to consider paying for an additional Travel Guard policy to cover injuries and illness while overseas.
All mission trip donations are non-refundable.
Should a traveler choose not to travel, they will be required to reimburse ServingHIM for all out-of-pocket expenses that have been incurred up to that point.
Assumption of Risk - I am aware that any international travel, including travel associated with the Mission Trip, poses risks to my health, safety, and welfare, and that certain world events as they unfold may heighten or lessen such risks depending on the year, season, or time period in which a particular Mission Trip occurs. These risks include but are not limited to sickness, infection, injury, death, crime, terrorism, war, travel, transportation, loss of life, loss of property, political instability, hostilities, governmental or cultural opposition to project activities, religious persecution, as well as other similar and dissimilar risks, some of which may be unknown to ServingHIM at the time of signing this release. I AM AWARE THAT THE MISSION TRIP INVOLVES THESE AND OTHER INHERENT RISKS WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN TO SERVINGHIM. I AM VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THE MISSION TRIP WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THE RISKS INVOLVED. BY MY SIGNATURE BELOW, I AM ACCEPTING ANY AND ALL RISKS OF DELAY, INJURY, DEATH, LOSS, AND ANY OTHER RISKS THAT MAY RESULT DURING MY PARTICIPATION IN THE MISSION TRIP, INCLUDING TRAVEL TO AND FROM ANY AIRPORT OR OTHER PORT OF DEPARTURE.
Cancellation of Mission Trips - I understand that ServingHIM reserves the right to cancel the Mission Trip without advance notice to me due to unpredictable acts of God or force majeure unforeseeable circumstances. In the unlikely and unfortunate event of a cancellation of the Mission Trip, I understand and agree that ServingHIM will not be responsible for assuming any liability for expenses I incur related to the Mission Trip, including out-of-pocket costs and expenses, lost income, vacation time, airfare, hotel fare, or any other direct or indirect cost, loss, or expense or damage incurred by me.
